At Barnes Primary, Information Technology focuses on using digital tools to create, organise and present ideas. Children learn practical skills such as word processing, creating posters, and designing digital books. As they progress, they explore spreadsheets, data handling and website design. These activities help pupils understand how technology can be used to communicate effectively and creatively. From inserting images into a Book Creator project to building a simple website in Year 5, our aim is to give children confidence in using a range of software for real purposes.
