5 Day School Journey to PGL in Liddington, Swindon | · 2 full days are spent on site and children take part in various activities including: Jacob’s Ladder; Zip Wire; Giant Swing; Archery; Crate Challenge; Abseiling; Camp Making and Trapeze · Children spend one day in Salisbury visiting the cathedral and upon return back to school children visit Stonehenge. |
Houses of Parliament | Children have the experience of visiting this historic site and learning about it’s role in the governance of the country. |
Natural History Museum | This is linked to the Learning Themes unit of Dangerous Earth. Children visit the Volcano and Earthquake galleries and attend a workshop called ‘Emergency: earthquake and volcanoes |
Kew Gardens | This is linked to the science unit of ‘Evolution, Inheritance and Natural Selection’. |
Junior Citizen, Holly Lodge, Richmond Park | Children are invited to take part in a series of drama workshops which help them to become more responsible junior citizens. They work with adults from the emergency services, Transport for London, Thames Water, SSE and the Richmond Cycling Team. |
On-road Cycling Training, Barnes Primary School | Children are provided with the opportunity to take part in a five day programme of on-road cycling. |
Chessington World of Adventures, Chessington | A day spent at the theme park |
Orange Tree Theatre trip | Following a school-based workshop, children visit the theatre to see the play the workshop was based on. |
