About me

Although I had previously taught in India, Spain and Mitcham, my association with BPS started in 2005 when my daughter joined Reception, with my son following into the nursery two years later. At this time I was Chairman of the PTFA, a post I held for two years. Meanwhile I also started working at the school first in the Nursery and then as a teaching assistant in Year 2 working to support children primarily with their reading skills. This is a task I love and have since gained a Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia) and another one in SEND. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and teenage children – although the current task of teaching my daughter to drive is testing my patience!
