Year 6

Margo

Margo Rodrigo is the school’s Leader for Learning and a member of the Leadership Team. Prior to her time at Barnes she worked in both the state and the independent sectors. Margo teaches Year 6 and plays a prominent role in developing the quality of teaching at our school. She is also the director of the excellent Year 6 end of year productions. In addition, Margo is involved in working with a number of teachers from other schools through our school partnerships programme. She has made two visits to Rusuzumiro Primary School in Rwanda and has played a lead role in strengthening our link and our fundraising for our friends there.

Scott

Scott Griffin is in his ninth year at Barnes, having previously worked at St Clement with St James Primary School in Notting Hill. Scott leads on sport at Barnes, a significant management responsibility. He is firmly committed to continually extending sporting opportunities for pupils at our school. From September 2016 he introduced weekly exercises that all pupils can do to develop strength and agility.  An excellent cricketer, Scott trains the talented batsmen, bowlers and fielders at Barnes. Like Margo he also works closely, in partnership, with teachers from other schools.
