After a successful first year of running the Playmaker award in sports leadership, Fit For Sport & Barnes Primary are continuing the Playmaker Award and are looking to take in a new  batch of future potential sports leaders.

The Playmaker Award introduces pupils to leadership and helps to develop and build skills in organisation, communication, team work and responsibility through specially created challenges and physical activity. It allows pupils to embrace support and respect for others and reinforces strong values.

Tutored by established sports leaders Mr Conor & Mr Sam, who work with the children through Fit For Sport, and teaching PE at Barnes Primary, the award is for children in year 5 & 6 and gives them an opportunity to gain their first certificate in sports leadership, a reward that can be taken with them onto secondary school.
